Maybe we can make it a rule that she has to go first?

If she's injured, would it matter if she listened or not?

[She's even shorter than yams they can just stuff her in there]

[It's hard to shrug like this, but he does it anyway.]

I don't think she'd argue that much anyway, though. Su-sensei's the only doctor we have, she knows how important her work is.

[Even though she is played by britt, a menace.]

I will tomorrow. [It sounds more like a decision he clearly already made than an attempt to weasel out of healing.] Don't worry, I don't want to stay injured.

[GENTLY MASHED POTATS. That gets a smile out of him, even though it's kind of half-hearted because he's upset about Atsushi.]

Yeah. [A valiant effort to muster up--not cheer, exactly, but as close to it as he can get tonight.] I haven't forgotten about our performance, either.

[LESS THIS PLACE INDEED... god.]

...I guess we'll see what happens tomorrow. [Maybe everyone will be saved and they'll be so pumped they wanna do a concert right there!

(This will not happen. He doesn't think that.)]

Maybe. I asked Steel-san about it before Vax and Percy fought, since I'd heard that it was a possibility, she said... [Well. She said a lot of things that he thinks a non-sword/non-sword adjacent might not understand, so he rephrases.] She didn't seem to think it was impossible, but--that it would have to be a true battle, and that surviving wouldn't come without a high cost.

[Which, in fairness to her, Vax and Percy did have to get pretty dang close to death before they got saved, so it's not like she was wrong.]

But I guess there's no reason it couldn't happen again, right?
